Job Overview
As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, providing top-notch support to our customers through various channels, including phone, chat, and email. Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer contacts (calls, chats, emails) in a professional and courteous manner
- Respond to customer inquiries through multiple channels, as needed, providing timely and effective solutions
- Research and troubleshoot problems, using available resources to provide resolutions and ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide customers with product and service information, identifying and escalating priority issues as necessary
- Follow up with customers when necessary, documenting customer contacts and maintaining accurate records
- Develop a thorough understanding of blithequark's policies, procedures, and safety rules, adhering to company standards and guidelines
- Duties may change, and team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and best practices
- 6+ months of experience in a customer service-related role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals, both internally and externally
- Maintain the customer's perspective as a driving force behind activities, demonstrating empathy and understanding
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and remain detailed and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with relevant computer applications, including Google Chrome, Oracle Service Cloud, Order Management System, Workday, and Kronos
- Ability to toggle multiple web browsers, with dual monitors, and excellent keyboarding skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team setting, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an Omni Channel Contact Center environment, with a deep understanding of customer service principles and best practices
- Previous Work at Home experience, with a proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with blithequark's product lines, with a passion for sports and outdoors
- Bilingual (Spanish and English speaking) a plus, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups
Home Office Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a dedicated workspace that meets our requirements. This includes:
- Broadband internet connection (Cable, DSL, or Fiber) with a minimum download speed of 5.0 MBPS (preferably 75+)
- No wireless internet connections may be used (the computer must be connected via a wired, network connection to either a hub or directly to a broadband modem)
- At least 4 GB of available RAM and 1024 GB (1 Terabyte) of data usage
- A compatible headset, two monitors, keyboard, mouse, ethernet cord, and a computer system will be provided by blithequark
- A work atmosphere that is free from noise, including but not limited to; televisions, audio equipment, pets, children, etc.
Physical Requirements & Attendance
To perform the duties of this role, you'll need to have an acceptable level of hearing and vision. You'll also need to adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior. This includes being available to work weekends and all holidays except for Christmas Day.
