About the Role
In this exciting Part-time Chat Specialist role, you'll be the face behind our online chat conversations, engaging with customers, and representing our clients in a positive and professional manner. Your primary goal will be to turn conversations into leads, helping our clients generate revenue and grow their business. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, handling a wide variety of customer inquiries, providing accurate information, and capturing vital customer contact information for lead generation and client review.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse range of customer inquiries via online chat, providing timely and accurate responses to their questions and concerns
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and updates
- Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, summarizing interactions based on customer needs
- Continuously develop and maintain a knowledge base of our evolving products and services, staying ahead of the curve in the automotive industry
- Collaborate with our team to achieve shared goals, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to change and thrive in a quick-paced work environment. Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary. You should have basic internet and window-based computer skills, with a strong ability to multitask – gaming experience is a plus! A positive and professional demeanor is essential, along with the ability to work flexible hours, including 4-hour time blocks daily.
Essential Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
- Positive and professional demeanor, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Ability to work 4-hour time blocks daily, with a minimum of 20 hours per week, and attend 4 weeks of training full-time Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 10:00AM - 6:30PM CST
- Able to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred, and have a strong ability to multitask

- Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry, with a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences
- Gaming experience, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on achieving shared goals and objectives
- Knowledge of the automotive industry, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments and trends
