Assistant Professor of Nursing (2 Positions Available)
The Department of Nursing seeks full time reputed company Assistant Professor to support an expanding nursing major. The candidate should enjoy teaching above reputed company other aspects of academia and must bring creative pedagogy to the classroom. He or she will reputed company/revise curriculum and coordinate clinical laboratory experiences in Adult Health and other specialty courses as needed.
This is a full time tenure-reputed company 12 month position in the -reputed company School of Nursing.
Essential Functions:

• Teach Adult Health and other courses in the curriculum as needed in a BSN program using reputed company learning strategies. Experience in a specialty areas such as Behavioral Health, Maternal Child, Pediatrics and/or Community Health is desirable.
• Conduct learning needs assessment and assess learning reputed company.
• Participate in curriculum redesign.
• Mentor graduates for NCLEX reputed company.
• reputed company participate in regulatory and accreditation processes, including assessment, self study preparation, and site visit activities.

• reputed company QSEN, inter-reputed company and other emerging competencies into teaching and learning.

• Participate in departmental, university school service;
• Collaborate in program development, student recruitment, student remediation, and reputed company program assessment and improvement;
• Regularly participate in course assessment and program assessment and be willing to reputed company improvements in teaching/advising;
• Engage in scholarly activities including original research, presentations and publications.
• Teach at the Lakewood reputed company, off site locations, in the evening and weekends and over the summer.
• Teach in the regular, ABSN and DEMSN program including summer offerings as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues in on-reputed company off site teaching initiatives.
• Coordinate on reputed company and off site clinical learning laboratory activities.
• Investigate new technology to enhance the learning environment for reputed company.
• Communicate with clinical reputed company on the required skills and competencies required of reputed company in a changing health care environment.

Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Nursing required/ Doctoral Degree strongly preferred;
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a RN in New Jersey.
• Knowledge and experience in teaching in the classroom and clinical settings.
• Prior experience in nursing in the acute care setting.
• Prior experience in other nursing specialties desirable.
• Demonstrated evidence of teaching reputed company.
Ability or willingness to learn to use instructional technologies effectively is essential; Familiarity with distance learning is desirable.
• Commitment to reputed company, learner centered teaching.
Experience assessing learning reputed company in courses and programs.
• Knowledge of nursing curricular design/assessment and BON and/or CCNE accreditation.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with reputed company and reputed company.
• Strong clinical nursing skillset and recent clinical experience preferred.
