Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will be working directly with local businesses to understand their needs and aspirations, and customize our marketing solutions to help them achieve their goals. As a Data Entry and Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting blithequark's advertising platform to small businesses across the United Kingdom. Your success will be measured by your ability to hit and exceed monthly sales targets, stay on top of daily metrics, and manage rejection with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Train, strategize, and effectively promote blithequark's advertising programs through a high volume of outbound sales calls – this role is 100% phone-based.
- Reach out to as many businesses as possible, working one of the following schedules (in your local time): 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.; 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.; or 9:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.
- Personalize and manage a pipeline of clients ranging from dentists to florists to restaurant owners – all organized in our CRM (Salesforce).
- Work from the comfort of your own home to promote advertising to small local businesses on a fixed Monday to Friday schedule.
- Become an expert in blithequark's advertising solutions, and adapt product knowledge quickly to match customer needs – asking probing questions and overcoming customer objections and rejection will be crucial to your success.
- Achieve and consistently exceed month-to-month sales goals – strong work ethic and tenacity are key!
- Stay organized and manage your time effectively in order to complete your daily goals – that means being a numbers game and you're here to win.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A GED/HS Diploma and 2+ years of customer-facing experience OR a Bachelor's Degree.
- No fear of the phone – you will be making a high volume of outbound sales calls.
- Basic computer and email skills – we use Google Suite and provide a MacBook computer.
- A work environment free of distractions – you will be working from home, so you must be able to stay focused and motivated.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage independently without oversight.
- Must possess current UK work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
- Knowledge of blithequark's advertising platform and solutions.
