About the Role

We are looking for exceptional customer service professionals to join our team as a Customer Service Representative for our Fitness Programs. As a remote worker, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. You will be the primary point of contact for our members, and your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in ensuring that our members receive the support they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all blithequark Fitness products and programs
  • Answer incoming calls on our telephone system in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner
  • Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the appropriate system
  • Provide answers to member questions by following standard policies and procedures
  • Interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Coordinate collection of necessary information, including member co-pays or payments when necessary
  • Forward documentation to the Research Team for follow-up if an issue requires additional action
  • Analyze information, problems, issues, situations, and procedures to develop effective solutions to ensure member satisfaction with the Fitness programs
  • Research unique questions using all available resources and refer difficult issues to your Supervisor for appropriate answers
  • Handle all issues requiring additional action within the necessary timeframes
  • Manage your time to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and appropriate follow-up is conducted in a timely manner
  • Exercise strict confidentiality in all matters relating to the member experience with the Fitness program
  • Attend and participate in meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel
  • Respond to requests from other blithequark department personnel, contacting clubs and members as required

Qualifications and Core Competencies

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and core competencies:

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One-year experience performing customer service duties; inbound call center experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare preferred
  • Basic experience with MS Office

  • Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers

  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task, and manage time
  • Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations, and procedures to develop effective solutions
  • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters

Remote Work Considerations

As a remote worker, you will be required to work from home in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment. You will need to have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate by video in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network (minimum internet download speed of 50 Mbps and 10 Mbps upload speed).
