About the Team and the Role
We're a fast-moving and scrappy team building a startup within a big company, and we're looking for an experienced Associate Manager to join our In-Store team. As a Strategy & Operations Associate Manager focused on the customer side of our Going Out product, you'll own critical pieces of the customer go-to-market strategy and work on some of the most urgent projects as we prepare to scale our product nationwide. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to drive growth, improve customer experience, and increase retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and collaborate on critical components of our business, including the Going Out customer journey, in-app conversion, monthly retention, and order frequency
- Design and execute experiments to learn about new products and features, and analyze results to inform future decisions
- Develop and implement marketing and communications plans to drive customer growth and engagement
- Build models to evaluate success and set new goals, and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and sales teams to scale Going Out and drive business growth
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong track record of achieving tangible outcomes and moving needles. You should have:
- 4+ years of experience in management consulting, tech, design, investment banking, corporate strategy, business development, or business operations, with high-growth or early-stage startup experience strongly preferred
- An established track record of leading projects, working in a team, and motivating people at all levels across a variety of job responsibilities
- Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to perform complex functions, and SQL knowledge a bonus
- Experience translating high-level goals into applicable plans and action items, and a strong ability to analyze data and provide insights
