Job Overview

In this exciting and dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice and guidance, and recommend the right products and solutions. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the face of blithequark, and your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building strong relationships with our customers and ensuring their complete satisfaction. You will also be responsible for achieving sales goals, maintaining high levels of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to wholesale and retail customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers, understanding their needs and presenting appropriate products and services to meet those needs
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, following all relevant policies and procedures
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring that all customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, tint and mix products as needed, and stock shelves to maintain a well-organized and presentable store environment
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, assist with making deliveries as needed, and maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the store
  • Remain up-to-date with product features and benefits, discussing available options with customers and making recommendations to meet their specific needs
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, suggesting ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the store

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, with Spanish being an asset
