Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled data entry professional to join our team at blithequark. As a data entry professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of patient data, prescriptions, and other relevant information. Key Responsibilities
- Engage patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving patient issues promptly and responding to inquiries to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Model and provide customer service best practices with all colleagues to deliver a unique and satisfying experience, including interpersonal skills that demonstrate empathy (e.g., welcoming, eye-to-eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and blithequark service values (e.g., showing interest to identify needs and proactively assisting, serving until satisfied, advocating compassion and inclusivity, etc.).
- Connect with patients by anticipating needs and proactively offering services, supporting efforts to enhance patient experience by increasing awareness of healthcare services presented through blithequark (e.g., patient consultation, medication management, medication therapy reviews, and performing clinical or health services like vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services) thereby advancing the shift of the blithequark pharmacy role from transactional to relational.
- Participate and assist in events that reflect the unique communities we serve as directed by Store Manager, Healthcare Supervisor, District Manager, or Pharmacy Manager.
- Counsel patients and answer their questions regarding the use of medication, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient data security, generics, more affordable medications, over-the-counter products, and refer to healthcare provider as needed to ensure medication is taken correctly, health needs are addressed, and satisfaction with service.
- Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, medication therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
- Review, interpret, and accurately administer prescribed medications when required by responsibility.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards, assisting the pharmacy manager with establishing procedures that promote the efficient workflow of the pharmacy, including assigning tasks, scheduling activities, and soliciting colleague ideas.
- Maintain current knowledge of information technology associated with pharmacy systems, including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and retail point-of-sale registers to offer support to patients as well as pharmacy staff, seeking new and better ways to encourage advance efficiency.
- Ensure the accurate processing of insurance claims to resolve patient issues and prevent payment rejections, following up with insurance companies and healthcare providers, and participating in third-party audits.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a strong preference for a degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, or technology).
- No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
