**Key Responsibilities**
As a Solutions Engineer - K8s Support - Customer First, your primary role will be to collaborate, guide, and support new and existing customers. Your responsibilities will include:
* Full customer life cycle - presale, setup, installation, and support
* Documentation and knowledge sharing to ensure seamless customer experiences
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
* Providing expert-level support for Kubernetes (design, deploy, manage) and cloud-native solutions
* Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely and professional manner
* Developing and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge bases
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 5+ years of experience in Engineering and Ops (systems, software, infrastructure, etc.)
* 2+ years of experience supporting external customers (solutions, customer success, support, etc.)
* Strong knowledge of orchestration, containerization, and Kubernetes (design, deploy, manage)
* Experience with cloud-native solutions, including AKS, EKS, GKE, and cloud (compute, networking, and storage services)
* Linux skills (Bash, Shell) are a must, with proficiency in Python, Go, and C a plus
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud-native security practices
* A degree in Engineering, CS, EE, CE, or a relevant discipline is ideal
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
* Experience with cloud security, compliance, and governance
* Knowledge of DevOps and CloudOps practices
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
* Experience with cloud-native monitoring and logging tools
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
