Job Overview

We are seeking talented and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Remote Customer Service Agents – Seasonal. As a key member of our Orkin Customer Contact Center, you will play a vital role in supporting our field offices and customers during our peak season. Key Responsibilities

  • Work remotely from your home office, utilizing the computer and equipment provided by blithequark to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Support our field offices and customers during peak season, which typically starts in February and requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure best-in-class service, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist customers by offering remedies to retain business, utilizing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to resolve issues and provide solutions
  • Utilize gamification tools to measure performance and increase engagement, striving for continuous improvement and excellence in your role

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience within or outside a call center
  • Completion of a Culture Index assessment, to ensure alignment with our company values and culture
  • Verification of internet speed, to ensure reliable and efficient connectivity
  • Ability to pass a computer assessment, demonstrating your technical skills and proficiency
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screen, as a condition of employment

Work from Home Requirements

To work from home successfully, you will need:

  • An appropriate workspace in your home, with a private or semi-private area free from distractions and background noise
  • A workspace with adequate furnishings, such as a desk and chair, and sufficient lighting
  • A minimum of 50 mbps download/20 mbps upload or higher, high-speed internet connection, with the ability to hardwire directly to a modem
