Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Customer Service Advisor to join our remote team in the USA. As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll play a vital role in supporting customers with their post-purchase needs, from tracking orders to checking order status and more. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from customers with inquiries about their recent purchases, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns.
- Assist customers with tracking numbers, order statuses, product returns, and other post-purchase needs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Utilize your problem-solving skills to find quick solutions and resolve any issues, de-escalating frustrated customers with empathy and professionalism.
- Help customers feel heard and valued, providing personalized support and guidance to ensure their needs are met.
- Occasionally assist with upselling or cross-selling when appropriate and necessary, identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.
Essential Qualifications
- A compassionate and patient individual with excellent communication and soft skills, able to effectively interact with customers and colleagues alike.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for de-escalating upset customers, with a focus on providing timely and effective solutions.
- Someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with ease.
- Experience in customer service or call centers is a plus, but not required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success.
- High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of six months of experience in customer service.
- Ability to accurately type at least 30 WPM, with high-speed internet access and a secured workspace that meets our technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with iOS and/or macOS, or comparable technology, with a strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology.
- Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently.
