Job Overview
We're seeking a compassionate and patient individual with excellent communication and soft skills to join our customer service team. As a Part-Time Customer Service Advisor, you will support customers with their post-purchase needs, from tracking orders to checking order status and more. If you excel in handling high-volume calls, are a problem-solver, and enjoy helping customers, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from customers with inquiries about their recent purchases, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns.
- Assist customers with tracking numbers, order statuses, product returns, and other post-purchase needs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Utilize your problem-solving skills to find quick solutions and resolve any issues, de-escalating frustrated customers with empathy and professionalism.
- Occasionally assist with upselling or cross-selling when appropriate and necessary, identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Essential Qualifications
- 18 years or older, with a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- At least six months of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support and resolving customer complaints.
- High-speed internet access, meeting the required speeds, and a secured workspace with a door that is only accessible to you during work hours.
- Ability to accurately type at least 30 WPM, with familiarity with iOS and/or macOS, or comparable technology, preferred.
- Flexibility to work at least 16 hours per week, with no more than 29 hours per week, and availability for at least 40 hours per week, including weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box to resolve complex customer issues.
- Familiarity with customer service software and technology, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
