Job Overview

blithequark is seeking an experienced and licensed Property and Casualty Customer Service Representative to join our remote team in Pennsylvania. As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for fielding inbound communications from clients, providing expert guidance and support on their insurance needs, and ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and courtesy. This is a non-sales role, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound communications from clients via phone, email, chat, social media, and other channels, addressing their insurance-related queries and concerns.
  • Utilize your knowledge of personal lines insurance to provide accurate and helpful information to clients, including quotes, new business, rating, policy, billing, payment, underwriting, contract, and coverage provisions, and premium changes.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand clients' needs, asking clarifying questions to gather more information and presenting them with effective solutions.
  • Recognize and respond to clients' life events that may offer opportunities for additional support or guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, insurance carriers, and clients to provide coverage information, policy recommendations, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Execute various client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, or other tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Essential Qualifications

  • An active Resident Property and Casualty or Personal Lines License.
  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional support and building strong relationships with clients.
  • At least 1 year of call center experience, with a proven track record of handling inbound communications in a fast-paced environment.
  • A High School diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in English, mathematics, and communication skills.
