Job Overview

This is a 100% remote position, including training, which will take place from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, for two weeks, followed by one week of nesting. After completing the training, you will work a flexible schedule between 8 am - 9 pm, Monday to Friday, with one weekend a month on a rotating schedule, eventually transitioning to a permanent shift. As a Remote Customer Service Representative - Property and Casualty Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from customers, providing solutions for their property and casualty insurance needs, and working to improve customer retention through problem-solving, education, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from customers to sell property and casualty insurance policies and provide support.
  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet sales goals consistently.
  • Handle all interactions promptly and efficiently to minimize wait times and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Build rapport with potential customers to reinforce the value of blithequark's brand and our property and casualty insurance products.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of products and services offered by blithequark.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current, active resident property and casualty insurance license (General P&C, not Personal Lines) in a minimum of 35 states, but preferably all 50 + D.C.
  • Licenses must remain active throughout the duration of the assignment.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Proven attendance reliability and a flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • A high school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment.
  • Insurance industry sales experience, with a strong understanding of property and casualty insurance products.
  • Service industry and/or Contact Center experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills, with excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections and articulate a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet.
