Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Customer Service Representative - Property and Casualty Insurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and promoting our insurance products. This is a 100% remote position, including training, which offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from customers for the purpose of selling property and casualty insurance policies.
- Manage time and other resources to ensure sales goals are met consistently, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle all interactions promptly and effectively to minimize wait times, while providing accurate and helpful information to customers.
- Build rapport with potential customers to reinforce the value of blithequark's brand and our property and casualty insurance products.
- Build strong knowledge of products and services offered, including features, benefits, and pricing, to effectively communicate with customers and address their needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and marketing, to stay up-to-date on new products, promotions, and initiatives, and to identify opportunities to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
Training and Schedule
The training schedule for this position will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, for two weeks, plus one week of nesting. After completing the training, you will be assigned a flexible schedule between 8 am - 9 pm, Monday to Friday, with one weekend a month on a rotating schedule. You will eventually be assigned a permanent shift, which will be discussed with you during the training period.
Essential Qualifications
- Must have a current active resident property and casualty insurance license - General P&C, NOT Personal Lines - in a minimum of 35 states, but preferably all 50 + D.C.
- Licenses must remain active throughout the duration of the assignment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in an inbound service environment or direct sales environment.
- Proven attendance reliability and a flexible schedule requirement, with the ability to work evenings and weekends.

- Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment.
- Insurance industry sales experience, with a strong understanding of property and casualty insurance products and services.
- Service industry and/or Contact Center experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
- Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on driving sales growth and improving customer engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections and close sales, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Articulate, professional, and possesses a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications and systems.
