**Schedule Details**
Our call center is open from 7:15 am - 5:30 pm MST, Monday - Friday. You will be scheduled for 8-hour shifts within the hours of operation. As a remote employee, you will be expected to maintain a quiet and distraction-free workspace, with reliable high-speed internet service and a traditional, wired high-speed connection.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
* Interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about programs and services in a contact center
* Responding to customer inquiries received by telephone, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), or web-based portal regarding information on programs and services
* Recording customer interactions and transactions, by documenting details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken
* Following standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
* Addressing customer inquiries and resolving problems to ensure that appropriate changes are made
* Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
* Communicating with supervisor regarding any potential needs or concerns
* Navigating multiple computer systems and adding appropriate documentation to the systems while speaking with a customer
* Performing data entry accurately
**Minimum Requirements**
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A high school diploma or GED
* 0-6 months of relevant professional experience
* Program Specific Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ 6 months of customer service experience preferred
+ Must reside within 70 miles of El Paso, TX (Must live in Texas)
* Home Office Requirements:
+ Reliable, high-speed internet service
+ Minimum 20 Mbps download speeds
+ Must be a traditional, wired high-speed connection such as cable or fiber
+ Quiet and distraction-free workspace
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* Previous experience in a customer service role
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with computer systems and software applications
