Job Overview

In this exciting and dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service experiences to our clients, responding to their inquiries, and promoting our innovative childcare solutions. As a Seasonal Customer Relationship Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our customers, internal stakeholders, and network providers to deliver outstanding support and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and chats from customers, responding to their inquiries, and providing personalized support and solutions.
  • Perform outgoing calls to customers and providers, confirming reservations, scheduling appointments, and sharing research results.
  • Educate customers on blithequark's services, programs, policies, and procedures, and help them understand client-specific processes, documentation, and timelines.
  • Assess customer needs, promote blithequark's offers, and complete reservation processes, placing outgoing calls to customers and providers, checking service availability, and opening/resolving cases as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external network providers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide follow-up communication and updates to customers, in accordance with agreed-upon timeframes, and manage assigned daily work queues, making outbound calls, chats, and emails in a timely manner.
  • Meet and exceed defined performance standards, assisting escalated customers when appropriate, and sustaining the highest level of customer experience and professionalism through all interactions.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service, help-desk, and/or comprehensive call center experience.
  • Outstanding customer service and soft sales skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work closely with other team members and departments.
  • Typing proficiencies of 35 wpm and above-average data entry skills, with proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications (Outlook and Word at a minimum).
  • Ability and willingness to learn and gain proficiency in new software systems.
  • Ability to determine the needs of the caller and obtain necessary information without following a scripted process.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Exposure to higher education or a related field.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages).
  • Leadership skills and experience in early childhood education or a related field.
