Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual with excellent communication and soft skills to join our team as a Part-Time Customer Service Advisor. As a customer service advisor, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls from customers with inquiries about their recent purchases, assisting them with tracking numbers, order statuses, product returns, and other post-purchase needs. Your problem-solving skills will be essential in finding quick solutions and resolving any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from customers with inquiries about their recent purchases, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns.
  • Assist customers with tracking numbers, order statuses, product returns, and other post-purchase needs, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills to find quick solutions and resolve any issues that may arise, de-escalating frustrated customers with empathy and professionalism.
  • Occasionally assist with upselling or cross-selling when appropriate and necessary, identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, ensuring that all relevant information is documented and up-to-date.

Essential Qualifications

  • 18 years or older, with a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • At least six months of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • High-speed internet access, meeting the following speeds: download 10mbps+ upload 3mbps+ Ping less than 175ms (no Wi-Fi or satellite internet, you must have an ethernet connection).
  • Ability to accurately type at least 30 WPM.
  • Have a secured workspace with a door that is only accessible to you during work hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with iOS and/or macOS, or comparable technology.
  • Previous experience in a call center environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
