Job Overview

The Customer Support Associate, Bilingual Ukrainian (Starlink) role at blithequark is a unique chance to be the face of Starlink to our customers, providing them with technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across multiple channels. You will be an integral part of a scrappy, early-stage Support team that is setting the tone for how we help our customers. Your excellent problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and ability to communicate complex concepts simply will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage and resolve customer issues across multiple channels (digital, voice, etc.), acting as a relentless internal advocate for the customer within blithequark.
  • Provide technical support to customers using hardware, software, and network expertise, ensuring that they can fully utilize our services.
  • Surface product, process, and training issues by pairing quantitative and qualitative methods, and be the voice of the customer, in the language of the business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and improve troubleshooting workflows and resolve root-cause issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our support processes.
  • Create and maintain an internal knowledge base and help center collateral, ensuring that our team has the resources needed to provide excellent support.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 1+ years of experience in a front-line customer support role, with a proven track record of providing excellent support and resolving customer issues effectively.
  • Fluent in English and Ukrainian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Excellent problem-solving and sleuthing skills, with the ability to go beyond the apparent and available answer to satisfy the customer.
  • Excellent empathy, active listening, and resiliency skills, with the ability to internalize customer concerns, solve them, and keep it positive.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to take pride in your craft and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to flex weekend and night shift hours as needed to support our growth, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Experience in a training, learning and development, analytics, service design, vendor management, or content management role, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Start-up, consulting, or other demonstrated experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing context.
  • Technical aptitude, with experience in networking, hardware troubleshooting, software development, etc., and a willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be available to work scheduled shifts, including holidays, with a commitment to providing excellent support to our customers at all times.
  • Must be available to work overtime hours and/or weekends as needed, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • This is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to the area, with a willingness to relocate for the right opportunity.
  • After 1 week of classroom training, must be available to work 10 hours a day on one of the following shifts: Shift Alpha, Shift Delta, or Shift Echo, with a commitment to providing excellent support during your scheduled hours.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a Customer Support Associate at blithequark, you can expect a competitive salary and benefits package that reflects your skills, experience, and contributions to the company. Our pay range for this role is $24.00/hour (Level 1), $25.00/hour (Level 2), and $27.00/hour (Level 3), with the actual level and base salary determined on a case-by-case basis.

In addition to your base salary, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
