Job Overview

As a Bank Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch support to our clients across various channels, including online, telephone, and in-person interactions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide banking support, resolve customer inquiries, and offer expert guidance on our products and services. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via email, phone, and in-person, ensuring prompt and courteous service
  • Perform online banking requests, including initiating wires, creating documents, closing accounts, and processing transactions
  • Act as a liaison between blithequark's management companies and clients, addressing escalated situations and providing expert guidance
  • Develop and maintain "relationship banking" with each customer, providing high-quality service and support to retain and improve business relations
  • Research and address fraud alerts, dormant accounts, and other customer-related issues
  • Provide support and process requests conducted through online banking, including address changes, new account requests, and secure messages
  • Set up online banking for designated customers and provide ongoing support for its use
  • Assist customers with checking accounts, setting up new accounts, making changes to existing accounts, and processing transfers and wires

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 or more years of related experience and/or training in customer service, banking, or a related field
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in online banking systems and software applications

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a banking or financial institution
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
