You will work closely with our Leadership Team to develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and communicate with parents and guardians. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, develop your skills and expertise, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children. • *Key Responsibilities** • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our Balanced Learning approach and meet the needs of our students • Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the learning process • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education • Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and attendance • *Essential Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field • Valid Florida Staff Credential or equivalent • Previous experience teaching in a VPK classroom or equivalent • Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities • *Preferred Qualifications** • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field • Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities • Knowledge of child assessment and evaluation tools • Experience with curriculum development and implementation • Bilingual or multilingual skills • *Skills and Competencies** • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities • Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles • Excellent lesson planning and instructional skills • Ability to assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • *Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Primrose Schools, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our educators.
