Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative I to work in a remote capacity, providing exceptional support to our customers via inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for resolving customer issues, providing product and service education, and ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries. This is a 6-month contract position with opportunities for extension or conversion to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve customer issues with products or services via inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels
- Assist with online portal access, including user maintenance, password resets, and web browser troubleshooting
- Schedule appointments and provide customer education on products and services
- Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of customer information
- Respond to all customer inquiries within a timely manner and accurately document customer interactions
- Evaluate the nature of customer issues to determine the proper resolution and utilize internal resources as needed to resolve complex issues
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and maintain productivity and performance standards
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Prior Call Center experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex issues and determine effective solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of customer interactions and multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous experience in a remote or virtual work environment
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology platforms
