About the Role

The primary role of the Solutions Engineer – Kubernetes Support and Customer 1st – REMOTE is to collaborate, guide, and support new and existing customers throughout the full customer life cycle, from presale to setup, installation, and ongoing support. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, customer-centric approach, and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support, guidance, and solutions to our external, enterprise customers across various industries, including CloudOps, DevOps, Platform, and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure seamless onboarding and integration of our products and services.
  • Guide customers through the full life cycle, from presale to setup, installation, and ongoing support, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support customer success, including technical guides, tutorials, and knowledge base articles.
  • Work closely with our internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our solutions and services.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in engineering and operations, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems, software, infrastructure, or related fields. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience supporting external customers, either in a solutions, customer success, or support capacity. Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of orchestration, containerization, and Kubernetes, with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes environments.

Technical Skills and Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in Linux skills, including Bash and Shell scripting.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or C.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including AKS, EKS, GKE, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
