Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor the performance of customer service representatives, providing coaching, counseling, and training to ensure exceptional customer service delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver annual performance evaluations, conduct regular team meetings, and meet with staff members to review performance and provide feedback.
  • Perform quality reviews on recorded calls, monitor calls on the ACD system, and ensure timely response to customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with management to achieve team and departmental goals, and participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Research and resolve escalated customer issues, provide assistance to staff, and take calls requiring supervisor intervention.
  • Maintain scheduling, timecards, and related reports, and ensure compliance with blithequark's policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with other departments to resolve customer issues and promote a positive customer experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma required, with 2-4 years of progressive experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Lead or supervisory experience in a call center setting, with a proven track record of driving team performance and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Workforce Management tools preferred.
  • Healthcare or health insurance experience is an asset, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or communications.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other call center technologies.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Call Center Manager (CCCM).
