Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Advisor to join our team. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will support customers with their post-purchase needs, from tracking orders to checking order status and more. This is a remote, full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $17.31 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from customers with inquiries about their recent purchases, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns.
  • Assist customers with tracking numbers, order statuses, product returns, and other post-purchase needs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills to find quick solutions and resolve any issues, de-escalating frustrated customers with empathy and professionalism.
  • Help customers with upselling or cross-selling when appropriate and necessary, promoting blithequark's products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and readily available.

Essential Qualifications

  • A compassionate and patient individual with excellent communication and soft skills, able to effectively interact with customers and provide exceptional service.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for de-escalating upset customers, with a focus on finding solutions and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in customer service or call centers is a plus, but not required – training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
  • High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of six months of experience in customer service.
  • Ability to accurately type at least 30 WPM, with high-speed internet access and a secured workspace that meets blithequark's requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with iOS and/or macOS, or comparable technology, is preferred, with a strong understanding of customer service software and systems.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
