Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our team in El Paso, TX. As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing customer care and enrollment services for health benefits via telephone, IVR, and web-based portals. This is a full-time, hourly position that offers a fully remote working arrangement, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while enjoying a better work-life balance.
Schedule Details
Our call center is open from 7:15 am - 5:30 pm MST, Monday - Friday, and you will be scheduled for 8-hour shifts within these hours of operation. We understand the importance of flexibility and offer a range of scheduling options to accommodate your needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about programs and services in a contact center
- Responding to customer inquiries received by telephone, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), or web-based portal regarding information on programs and services
- Recording customer interactions and transactions, by documenting details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken
- Following standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving problems to ensure that appropriate changes are made
- Referring unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
- Communicating with supervisor regarding any potential needs or concerns
- Navigating multiple computer systems and adding appropriate documentation to the systems while speaking with a customer
- Performing data entry accurately
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0-6 months of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Program-specific requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of customer service experience preferred
- Must reside within 70 miles of El Paso, TX (Must live in Texas)
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a contact center environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to connect your computer directly to your modem or router via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi connections are not allowed)
