**Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative with blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
* **Efficiently Manage High-Volume Calls**: Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries
* **Active Listening and Clear Communication**: Listen attentively to customer needs and provide clear, accurate information to resolve their issues
* **Access Cardholder Accounts**: Access cardholder accounts to provide information about payments and benefits deposited by state or federal agencies
* **Process Transactions**: Process transactions efficiently via web-based applications and handle research requests with precision
* **Maintain Confidentiality and Compliance**: Communicate in a warm, empathetic manner while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
* **Support Team Operations**: Support team operations during peak times or absences to help maintain seamless service
**Requirements**
To be successful as a Remote Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will need:
* **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
* **Customer Service Experience**: 6 months of Customer Service, Call Center, or Dispatch experience
* **Technical Skills**: Working knowledge of computers and Windows applications, as well as the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
* **Internet and Equipment Requirements**: A verified, secure, reliable, and high-speed internet connection, as well as a dedicated work area equipped with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
* **Background Check and Credit Check**: Must complete a background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting
* **Compliance with Camera Requirements**: Must comply with camera requirements for meetings and training
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* **1+ Years of Previous Call Center Experience**: Previous experience in a call center environment, with a strong focus on customer service and issue resolution
