**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
* **Efficiently Managing High-Volume Calls**: Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced environment, providing clear, accurate information to customers
* **Accessing Cardholder Accounts**: Access cardholder accounts to provide information about payments and benefits deposited by state or federal agencies
* **Processing Transactions**: Process transactions efficiently via web-based applications and handle research requests with precision
* **Communicating with Customers**: Communicate in a warm, empathetic manner while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
* **Maintaining In-Depth Knowledge**: Maintain in-depth knowledge of company and client programs, policies, and technology
* **Supporting Team Operations**: Support team operations during peak times or absences to help maintain seamless service
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful as a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:
* **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
* **Customer Service Experience**: 6 months of customer service, call center, or dispatch experience
* **Technical Skills**: Working knowledge of computers and Windows applications
* **Internet and Equipment Requirements**: A verified, secure, reliable, and high-speed internet connection, a dedicated work area equipped with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection, and a laptop or desktop computer provided by the company
* **Background Check and Credit Check**: Completion of a background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting
* **Compliance with Camera Requirements**: Compliance with camera requirements for meetings and training
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* **Previous Call Center Experience**: 1+ years of previous call center experience
