**What You’ll Do**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through:
* **Efficiently managing a high volume of inbound calls**: Handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment, using your skills and experience to resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently.
* **Listening actively to understand customer needs**: Listen carefully to customers to understand their needs and concerns, and respond with empathy and clarity.
* **Accessing cardholder accounts**: Access cardholder accounts to provide information about payments and benefits deposited by state or federal agencies.
* **Assisting cardholders with inquiries**: Assist cardholders with inquiries regarding transactions and account statuses.
* **Processing transactions efficiently**: Process transactions efficiently via web-based applications and handle research requests with precision.
* **Communicating in a warm, empathetic manner**: Communicate with customers in a warm, empathetic manner, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations.
* **Maintaining in-depth knowledge of company and client programs**: Stay up-to-date on company and client programs, policies, and technology to provide accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries.
* **Supporting team operations**: Support team operations during peak times or absences to help maintain seamless service.

**Required Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you must:
* **Be at least 18 years old**: Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
* **Have 6 months of customer service, call center, or dispatch experience**: Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
* **Complete a background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting**: Meet our security and compliance requirements.
* **Comply with camera requirements for meetings and training**: Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions.
* **Have a verified, secure, reliable, and high-speed internet connection**: Ensure a stable and secure internet connection to support business needs.
* **Have an established, dedicated work area**: Provide a dedicated workspace with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection.
* **Have working knowledge of computers and Windows applications**: Demonstrate proficiency in using computers and Windows applications.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* **1+ years of previous call center experience**: Demonstrate a strong understanding of call center operations and customer service principles.
