Apply via Dice today!<br><br><strong>Role: Sr. Windchill PTC System Administrator<br><br></strong><strong>Work Location with Zip code: Chandler, AZ 85226<br><br></strong><strong>REMOTE<br><br></strong><strong>Duration of the project: 6+ Months<br><br></strong><strong>Job Summary:<br><br></strong>The Senior Windchill System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of PTC Windchill systems. This role supports enterprise-wide Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives and ensures the system's stability, performance, and security across engineering and manufacturing operations.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br><br></strong>PTC Windchill Senior System Administrator with experience in Configuration, Support and system business administrations<br><br>Good experience in Windchill system and business administration<br><br>Experience in Support, Windchill update and Upgrade as admin<br><br>Experience with creating workflows and lifecycles<br><br>Experience in vaulting replica Configuration<br><br>Good knowledge on Windchill visualization services<br><br>Experience in working with Windchill Work goup Manager<br><br>Experience with rehost/cloning<br><br>Sound knowledge on CAD, BOM and Change Management<br><br>Good knowledge on Windchill cluster<br><br>Good knowledge on Business scenarios<br><br>Familiar with Windchill ProjectLink, PartsLink modules<br><br>Good knowledge on Quality Management, System Risk Management<br><br>Experience in Windchill 11.x<br><br>Participate in a DevOps culture including supporting CI/CD, the development and maintenance of a robust and reliable build pipeline and appropriate automated testing for product team functionality.<br><br>Good understanding of Middleware and Windchill integration with enterprise applications like ERP, CRM, and MES.<br><br>Experience with CAD systems such as SolidWorks, CREO, AutoCAD, CATIA and their integration with Windchill<br><br>Good Analytical skill, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment<br><br>Knowledge on Windchill API s and Data structure<br><br>Experience in Windchill Configurations<br><br>Experience in developing and debugging using IDEs Eclipse and similar<br><br>Database Experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.<br><br><strong>Required Qualifications:<br><br></strong>Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.<br><br>5+ years of experience in Windchill system administration, preferably in a senior or lead role.<br><br>Strong understanding of PLM concepts and PTC Windchill architecture.<br><br>Experience with PTC Creo and other CAD tools is a plus.<br><br>Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, JavaScript) and database management (Oracle, SQL).<br><br>Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments.<br><br>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.<br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<br><br></strong>Experience with Windchill 12.x<br><br>Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies<br><br>Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
