[Remote] Senior Cloud Native Developer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SmartSuite is a fast-growing SaaS company that empowers teams globally to streamline business processes through a no-code platform. They are seeking a Senior Cloud Native Developer to design, develop, and deploy high-quality features and services that enhance their next-generation work management platform. Responsibilities • Design, code, test, and deploy full-stack applications and microservices in a cloud-native AWS environment. • Drive the development of our core platform, including work on our API-first framework, messaging infrastructure, and data layers. • Implement best practices in asynchronous architectures, IAM and security, and highly scalable distributed systems. • Collaborate with agile teams—including Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers—to deliver robust and user-centric solutions. • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decision-making. • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and CI/CD pipelines. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments. Skills • 10+ years of professional software development experience. • Proven experience with TypeScript and/or GoLang within AWS services. • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native principles. • Experience with containerization and serverless technologies (Docker, Lambda, ECS). • Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, etc.). • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Experience designing scalable multi-tenant SaaS systems. • Hands-on experience building API-first architectures. • Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, observability, and DevOps best practices. • A passion for clean code, automation, and developer experience.
