Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Remote Lead QA/Quality Assurance Lead to join our team and drive excellence in our software delivery. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and the technical development team, ensuring critical technology solutions are implemented with the highest standards of quality. Reporting to the VP of Technology and Product Development, you will influence product outcomes and shape the QA strategy across multiple initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of senior and mid-level QA engineers, ensuring best practices in quality assurance and software testing.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and design robust test plans for core .Net enterprise content systems.
• Prepare and review architectural system design documents, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance.
• Oversee release management activities, including change control processes and coordinating code releases.
• Monitor system health, proactively identifying and addressing quality issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Provide second-level support for escalated technology issues, driving root cause analysis and resolution.
• Champion Agile methodologies, promoting continuous improvement and efficient project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of software engineering experience within Agile environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on QA leadership, with proven expertise in .Net development and enterprise content management lifecycle (capture, storage, retention, delivery).
• Strong experience integrating Salesforce with Azure and external applications using REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Circle CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and modern infrastructure as code practices (Terraform).
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clear and effective information exchange.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering on complex software initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
• 3+ years managing QA or software engineering teams in enterprise settings.
