About the Role: Full Time Data Entry Associate

As a Full Time Data Entry Associate at blithequark, your primary responsibility will be to enter Purchase Orders into our Point of Sale (POS) system, currently utilizing LightSpeed, and edit inventory on Shopify for our website. This critical role requires a strong foundation in data analysis, inventory management, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, ensuring seamless data entry and management of our brick and mortar and online store inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory management for single brick and mortar and online store, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
  • Data entry for all store inventory, creating purchase orders into LightSpeed software as orders are written, confirmed, and given to you from the buyer.
  • Maintenance of up-to-date and accurate inventory records, utilizing data analysis to inform business decisions and optimize inventory management.
  • Collaboration with the buying team to ensure seamless communication and data exchange, facilitating efficient order fulfillment and inventory management.
  • Implementation of process improvements to enhance data entry efficiency, accuracy, and overall inventory management.

Requirements for Success:

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar data entry or inventory management role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce, with a solid understanding of online store operations and inventory management principles.
  • Experience with Shopify, including inventory management and product listing optimization.
  • Familiarity with LightSpeed or similar POS systems is a significant plus, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis and inventory management principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate data entry and inventory management.
  • Ability to sit for long hours, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
