**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Retail Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing sales, loans, and extensions, and performing opening and closing store duties. If you're a self-motivated individual with a positive and outgoing personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone
* Process sales, loans, and extensions
* Perform opening and closing store duties
* Maintain a clean and organized store environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals
* Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
**Requirements**
* High school diploma or GED
* Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
* Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
* Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
* Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics, a plus
* Sales background, a plus
* Bilingual, a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment
* Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
