About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive product development
• Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs and formulate and complete analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, and presentation
• Conduct statistical analysis to make business or product recommendations (i.e., cost-benefit, invest-divest, forecasting, impact assessment)
• Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple tiers of stakeholders, developing clear and concise visualizations of quantitative data
• Help blithequark make key decisions to enhance products and services

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences, etc.)
• Experience working with statistical packages (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.)
• Experience articulating product questions, pulling statistics from datasets (SQL), and using statistics to attain an answer
• Excellent problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills, with strong business judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently attending a degree program within the United States and available to work full-time for 12 weeks outside of university term time
• In their penultimate academic year or returning to a point program after completion of the internship
• Ability to translate assessment outcomes into business guidelines
• Interest and capability to work with statistics, metrics, assessment, and developments, and finished knowledge of measurement, statistics, and application assessment
