About the Job and Group
The blithequark HR Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in a remote capacity. As an HR Business Partner, you will sit at the intersection of HR and the business, working closely with our Programming and Product groups to drive success. You will be responsible for leading and implementing all HR projects and initiatives in support of the client group, collaborating with key business and HR partners to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, building effective and collaborative working relationships with internal partners and clients.
- Proactively assess business and organizational performance to recommend and drive action through a consultative, "influence without authority" approach.
- Mentor leaders on HR policies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee engagement and retention, and performance management to foster a culture of continuous growth and innovation.
- Think creatively and pursue innovative approaches to our work, demonstrating flexibility, agility, transparency, and global thinking.
- Respond to leaders and employees with a sense of urgency and timely resolution.
- Analyze HR data and trends, presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner that informs business decisions.
- Provide guidance on headcount/resource management and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure a seamless recruitment and hiring process.
- Utilize understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development.
- Collaborate with DEI functional groups and employee resource groups to implement and measure the impact of key inclusion initiatives.
- Evaluate talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy, partnering with Learning functional partners to create and deliver development experiences that address gaps between current and future capabilities.
- Lead organization design projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles, or processes that drive speed and efficiency and support rapidly evolving business demands.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within a tech organization working with software or product groups.
- Experience working with senior leaders in an "influence without authority" role.
- Ability to perform with a "focus in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and operating tactically.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, navigating issues that don't always have a process or framework in place, and potentially with conflicting needs or perspectives.
- Solid business acumen with a keen ability to process new information quickly.
- Proven ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to drive business results.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions.
- Independent work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal supervision.
Education and Certification
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or a related field, is required. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.
