- Research and respond to claims and authorization inquiries, and maintain knowledge of complex custom networks
- Resolve customer issues and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner, and possess a calm demeanor to handle crisis situations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that member needs are met, and contribute to the development of process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a high-pressure customer-facing service environment, with a proven track record of learning and applying complex concepts
- Experience in healthcare, preferably in a call center, claims, medical billing, insurance verification, or benefits advocacy role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- A strong understanding of healthcare principles, including Medicare services and regulations
