Experienced Full Time Remote Call Centre Customer Service Representative – Delivering Exceptional Financial Solutions and Support

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Call Centre Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing tailored financial solutions and support to help them achieve their goals. This is a remote position, offering an immediate start for the right candidate. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with one in three Saturdays, and will be required to participate in varied shift patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Speak with customers who are experiencing financial difficulty, providing empathetic and personalized support to help them find a solution
- Make and receive calls to and from customers, managing a variety of customer accounts, including car finance, bank accounts, credit cards, loans, catalogues, mortgages, and mobile phone accounts
- Investigate customer debt and provide tailored solutions to reduce overall customer debt
- Ensure delivery and compliance with all outcomes and activities held within the Consumer Duty regulation, driving fair outcomes for customers
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives and provide exceptional customer service
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You should be:
- Fantastic with people, with a friendly and approachable personality
- Positive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to make a real difference
- Experienced in customer service, either face-to-face or in a call centre environment
- Able to use different systems and accurately reflect conversations and outcomes
- Able to deal with sensitive and challenging conversations, including complaints, and have the resilience to bounce back from them
- Proficient in numeracy and English literacy, with the ability to break down complex financial products and solutions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications and experience would be advantageous:
- Previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment
- Knowledge of financial products and services
- Experience working with customers who are experiencing financial difficulty
- Ability to speak multiple languages
