About the Role: Customer Care Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Customer Care Intern to join our team, working remotely and contributing to the delivery of exceptional client experiences. This is a 6-month trainee program with the potential for a permanent position, offering a monthly stipend during the training period. As a Customer Care Intern, you will play a vital role in responding to customer queries, identifying their needs, and providing timely and accurate support via phone, email, or chat.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded
  • Identifying customer needs and helping them use specific features, providing guidance and support as required
  • Updating our internal databases/CRM with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customers, ensuring that our systems are up-to-date and accurate
  • Monitoring customer complaints on social media and reaching out to provide assistance, demonstrating our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Sharing feature requests and effective workarounds with team members, contributing to our continuous improvement and innovation
  • Gathering customer feedback and sharing it with our Product, Sales, and Marketing teams, helping to inform our strategic decisions and drive business growth
  • Assisting in training junior Customer Support Representatives, sharing your knowledge and expertise to support their development and success
  • Updating CRM (changing current course to completed modules), ensuring that our systems are accurate and up-to-date
  • Handling complicated queries that are not resolved by the first contact person, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and support
  • Familiarity with our industry is a plus, although not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and approach challenges in a proactive and innovative manner
  • Multi-tasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Patience when handling tough cases, demonstrating empathy and understanding in your interactions with customers
