Job Overview
This full-time remote position is based in Indianapolis and offers a unique opportunity to work with a global team, supporting clients from all over the world. As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support, troubleshooting, and resolving end-user issues related to our clinical trials software applications. Your strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to meet deadlines will be essential in this role. You will be working on a second or third shift, with possible weekends, and will have the flexibility to float and cover additional shifts as needed after training.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user issues in client software applications for clinical trials
- Document all call information according to QA and internal standard operating procedures
- Monitor team mailbox emails and document according to procedures
- Maintain confidentiality as appropriate at all times
- Adhere to departmental procedures for all emergencies
- Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve daily issues
- Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A college degree is preferred, and at least one year of applicable experience in customer service or a related field
- Strong computer experience with Microsoft Office products and familiarity with SharePoint
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills on a professional level, with strong phone skills
- Ability to work remotely within a 50-mile radius of Indianapolis and travel to client sites for urgent situations
- Strong commitment to customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional support
- Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve daily issues
- Bilingual skills in Spanish, French, and/or Japanese are helpful but not required
