About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Customer Service Representative to provide after-hours support to our clients and caregivers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, resolving client and nurse queries, and providing timely responses to queries via our texting platform. Your exceptional communication skills, compassion, and confidence will enable you to deliver outstanding customer service and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls and respond to client and nurse queries in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Resolve client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours support
  • Provide timely responses to queries via our texting platform
  • Notify clients and replace caregiver callouts as necessary
  • Confirm caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start
  • Perform initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services
  • Document all scenarios on our platform and update caregiver schedules as needed
  • Complete non-urgent admin projects as time allows

Requirements and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and confident with a strong customer-focused approach
  • Responsible and reliable with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • 10+ years of work experience in customer service and office duties
  • Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours with a willingness to work a 3-day week with 4-hour shifts per day and 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Impeccable phone and computer skills with the ability to work remotely and independently
  • Staffing and/or healthcare experience is highly desirable
  • Quiet and professional work-from-home environment with reliable Wi-Fi and load-shedding backup
