Our team is passionate about innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, and we're committed to creating a work environment that fosters growth, learning, and collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** As a Lead Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is friendly, polite, and expert * Managing production flow to ensure all production orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards * Taking customer orders, giving pricing information, and performing consultative selling to customers * Recommending FedEx Office products and services to customers, ensuring that they receive the best possible solutions for their needs * Tracking and logging all production jobs, ensuring that every order is accurate and complete * Setting up complex orders and performing multiple tasks at the same time, demonstrating exceptional time management and organizational skills * Ensuring quality during and after the production process, maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail * Communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and team members, ensuring that every interaction is professional and courteous * Providing leadership to team members on an assigned shift, mentoring and guiding them to achieve their full potential * Assisting in the training of store team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to ensure that everyone is equipped to deliver exceptional customer service * Collating, sorting, and organizing customer orders, ensuring that every order is accurate and complete * Operating the Point of Sale terminal (POS), handling financial transactions, and making change * Completing required financial paperwork and assisting with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits * Following instructions from supervisors and assisting other team members in performing store functions * Following FedEx Office standard operating procedures, as well as adhering to legal, HR, safety, and security policies and procedures * Secondary responsibility for coordination of all shipping-related services and activities, including: + Providing customer service by determining appropriate shipping methods, informing customers of company products, services, routes, and rates + Ensuring quality customer service is given to customers by providing packaging services, as well as offering information about company products and services + Offering assistance to customers by suggesting appropriate shipping methods, maintaining inventory of shipping supplies + Assembling parcels and preparing goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels **Essential Functions** To succeed in this role, you'll need to: * Be able to stand during entire shifts, excluding meal and rest periods * Be able to move and lift 55 pounds * Be able to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis * Be able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members on a consistent basis * Be able to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction on a consistent basis * Be able to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure on a consistent basis * Be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time on a consistent basis * Be able to work with minimal supervision on a consistent basis * Be able to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the blithequark business **Preferred Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent education * 2+ years of specialized experience in customer service, retail, or shipping operations * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work in a team environment, providing leadership and guidance to team members as needed * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion **Compensation and Benefits** As a Lead Retail Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of $19.75 - $24.95/Hr, depending on your experience and qualifications.
