**Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Grant Project Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing an assessment tool to evaluate the capacity of healthcare providers to deliver treatment to newcomer populations, including refugees, temporary protected status holders, humanitarian parolees, asylees, asylum seekers, and those without status.
* Collaborating with the team to update the state's healthcare inventory to extract relevant data for the Health Systems Capacity Project.
* Distributing the assessment tool to healthcare providers in Rhode Island and collecting returned data.
* Conducting research on comparable assessment approaches and consulting with experts in treating newcomers to develop an effective capacity assessment tool.
* Identifying and selecting a digital database platform for collecting and analyzing data from healthcare providers.
* Utilizing the assessment tool to evaluate as many healthcare providers as possible through July 2025.
* Meeting regularly with Department of Human Services (DHS) staff to report on progress and strategize next steps.
* Analyzing collected data to draft a document outlining strengths and gaps within the Rhode Island healthcare landscape.
**Essential Qualifications**

* Graduate-level studies in a community healthcare field, such as public health, healthcare administration, or a related field.
