About the Job We are currently seeking an experienced Information Management Expert to join our team at Wells Fargo Home. As an Information Management Expert, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our organization by leveraging your skills and expertise in data management, analysis, and visualization. Key Responsibilities • Participate in low to moderate complexity data management initiatives and identify opportunities for data governance improvements within the scope of responsibilities that drive data enablement and capabilities across platforms and utilities. • Analyze and assess essential business, operational, or technical tasks or challenges that require analysis, evaluation, and selection of options to drive low to moderate risk with data enablement strategies, guidelines, and expectations. • Presentation of proposals for resolving low to moderately complex data product situations, and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in data, analysis, and integration needs of line of business colleagues that influence prioritization, guidance, and architecture design. • Collaborate and communicate with functional stakeholders, internal partners, and vendors to understand business requirements and prioritization and ensure data product solutions are designed for optimal performance. • Manage low to moderate complexity datasets consistently focusing on the consumers of the data and their business needs, while adhering to established data management and standards. • Participate in the creation and maintenance of data product roadmaps with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities. • Compile data requirements and document data needs from various sources throughout the data product lifecycle. • Communicate low to moderate complexity data issues and initiatives in a digestible way to all audiences. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: • Years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. • Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. • Proficient in gathering data source and data lineage. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: • SQL • Data Analysis • Experience with Teradata and working on Cloud is a plus. • Agile methodology • Banking industry experience • Experience working with Big Data Work Expectations In this role, you will be expected to: • Demonstrate strong SQL skills, experience with programming languages for data analysis, and actively participate in Agile schedules. • Think strategically, execute, and deliver business objectives. • Negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships. • Display strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. • Possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. • Have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to engage and influence senior technology and business leaders. • Be driven, confident, organized, and a skilled problem solver.
