Part-time Metadata Services Librarian Queens Public Library Posted on April 24, 2025 Application Deadline May 16, 2025 Apply Part Time In Person $35.36 Hourly Jamaica, New York The Metadata Services Librarian performs metadata record cleanup and creates new collection and item level metadata as part of the implementation of a new digital asset management system for Queens Public Library’s (QPL’s) archival collections. Responsible for metadata quality control, database maintenance and authority control tasks. Contributes to orderly movement of materials through processing workflow. Trains and assists staff members, volunteers, and interns working on digital archives projects.
