About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Member/Customer Services Advocate to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with blithequark members in a fast-paced inbound contact center, providing exceptional support and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication.
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations, ensuring empathetic resolution and accurate information.
- Effectively handle customer concerns, utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure compliance with communication standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members, maintaining records of all interactions and changes.
- Confidentially handle policy owner information, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position, with a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, as well as knowledge of various insurance products.
- Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework is preferred.
- High School Diploma required; some college-level coursework is preferred.
- Must possess internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload and be able to support a VPN.
