Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced virtual assistant to join our team as an Airbnb Customer Services representative. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience for our travelers. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests via phone, email, and messaging platforms, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and concerns
  • Utilize AI-powered tools, such as ChatGPT, to craft comprehensive and personalized guest messaging that resonates with our brand and travelers
  • Screen potential guests, provide support and resolve issues, and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate and escalate issues to management via Slack, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution
  • Achieve 5-star ratings and Superhost Status by delivering exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms, maintaining a high level of professionalism and consistency
  • Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams, ensuring prompt attention and resolution
  • Report and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement, following established procedures and guidelines
  • Build, manage, and report on in-house maintenance labor, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective issue resolution
  • Assist with the onboarding of accounting systems, utilizing working knowledge of business financials and accounting principles
  • Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in using VoIP technology to communicate with guests and vendors
  • Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI, with a deep understanding of their features and functionality
  • Familiarity with ChatGPT and AI-powered tools, with the ability to leverage them for comprehensive guest messaging
  • Availability to work Thursday and Friday, 3pm-11pm CST, with potential opportunities for part-time overnight shifts
  • Perfect English grammar and spelling, with attention to detail and ability to craft professional communications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service
  • Working knowledge of business financials and accounting principles, with experience in onboarding accounting systems
  • Experience in 3rd party vendor relations, with a strong understanding of effective communication and collaboration strategies
  • Familiarity with Operto Teams and Guesty Shield, with experience in reporting maintenance and damage issues, and submitting damage claims
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and composure
