About the Role
We are looking for a talented virtual assistant who can provide top-notch customer service to our guests, vendors, and internal teams. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience. If you are a proficient communicator, able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, vendors, and internal teams via phone, email, and chat
- Screen potential guests, provide support, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Respond to guest inquiries, communicate with guests, and escalate issues to management via Slack
- Achieve 5-star ratings and Superhost Status by providing outstanding customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms
- Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
- Build, manage, and report in-house maintenance labor, and assist with the onboarding of accounting systems
- Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors for tertiary market management
Essential Qualifications
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI is a plus, with the ability to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging
- Deep familiarity with ChatGPT and the ability to use it to enhance guest communication
- Comfortable speaking English on the phone and using a VoIP to communicate with guests and vendors
- Available and reliable in CST and Eastern United States time zones with perfect English and grammar
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field
- Knowledge of business financials and accounting principles
- Experience with 3rd party vendor relations and tertiary market management
- Familiarity with Operto Teams and Guesty Shield
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts (11p-7am CST)
