Key Responsibilities:
- Data Transformation and Integration: Concentrate data from recognized databases, create data pipelines, and transform data into a format that is relevant to the problem by selecting appropriate methods.
- Data Source Identification: Support the understanding of the need request of necessities and administration level arrangements, identify the most suitable source for data that is good for reason, and perform initial data quality checks on extracted data.
- Data Modeling: Investigate complex data elements, systems, data streams, conditions, and relationships to contribute to applied, physical, and logical data models, foster the Legitimate Information Model and Actual Information Models, including data warehouse and data shop designs.
- Code Development and Testing: Write code to develop the necessary solution and application features by determining the appropriate programming language and utilizing business, technical, and data requirements, create experiments to assess and validate the proposed solution design, and test the code using the appropriate testing approach.
- Applied Business Acumen: Provide suggestions to business partners to solve complex business problems, create business cases for projects with an extended return on investment or cost savings, translate business requirements into projects, activities, and tasks, and align with overall business strategy.
- Data Governance: Establish, modify, and document data governance tasks and recommendations, implement data governance practices in collaboration with business partners and peers, interpret organizational and regulatory policies on data, and educate others on data governance processes, practices, approaches, and rules.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Cloud, Python/PySpark, and Java, Streaming, Kafka, Backend.
- A proven history of coding with at least one programming language (e.g., Scala, Python).
- Familiarity with one of the cloud computing platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure).
- Experience with data modeling and data migration protocols.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, BI, and ETL environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with Data bricks is an additional benefit.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL like Cosmos DB alongside RDBMS like MySQL, Postgres.
- Hands-on working experience with any messaging platform like Kafka.
- Ability to increase the efficiency of the team by fixing Cycles of Programming Development, Requirement Admission, Effort Assessment.
