Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Airline Customer Service Agent to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, ensuring proper documentation and communication, and providing exceptional service to our clients. This is a remote opportunity with an immediate start, offering a competitive compensation package and a salary of $17.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare documentation prior to flight arrival or departure, review, organize, make copies, and distribute accordingly.
- Travel to the Airport Operational Area (AOA) to meet flights upon arrival or departure to retrieve or drop off flight documents.
- Notify brokers or freight forwarders on the Master Airway Bill (MAWB) of shipment arrivals at warehouse facilities or on hold.
- Provide assistance to customers arriving to retrieve their documents and freight.
- Collect appropriate charges and document methods of payment.
- Process "Customs Out" (proof of delivery) for every transaction before the customer's departure.
- Assist in completing MAWBS for over-the-counter shipments.
- Confirm all bookings are accepted and confirm TSA mandatory screening.
- Confirm Dangerous Goods (DG) have been checked within aircraft limits and follow specific procedures for DG shipments when received, including when shipments are abandoned by consignees.
- Data capture AWB information into airline systems.
- Manifest flights based on information received from the warehouse.
- Print flight manifests, cargo pallet messages, deadload, and NOTOC, and deliver to the aircraft.
- Verify post-flight inventory with documents on hand.
- File maintenance of all pertinent documents and records.
- Prepare various reports (Irregularity, Weekly Import and/or Export Statistics).
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails.
- Demonstrate diligence required to maintain security under the Airport Police, TSA, and United States regulations.
Essential Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
- Must provide proof of the legal right to work in the United States.

- Typing skills with the ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm.
- English proficiency (e.g., reading, writing, speaking, listening).

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Tolerate moderate to loud levels of noise within the work environment.
- Stand and remain standing for periods up to 3 hours without sitting.
- Demonstrate daily fitness for obligation without impairment due to illegal drugs, sleep deprivation, medication, or alcohol.
- May be required to work irregular hours and/or shifts, including split-shifts; holidays and weekends; overtime; and extended hours.
